With its A14 Bionic chip and new camera setup, this particular version of the iPhone (iPhone 12) will undoubtedly bring out a lot more power than previous generations, which has already been proven with its phenomenal battery life and speed. In the event of launch it may also get another big bump in hardware compared to the iPhone 12, especially with the addition of improved RAM. There will still be some performance gains though, as the CPU increase of 7nm chips will give way for an increased GPU of 4GB/5GB while adding RAM of 8GB, however it will be worth noting that the release date for the iPhone 13 will likely be a few months ahead of the iPhone 14, and any further increase in the prices for the iPhone 14 may not be much compared to what we already saw with the $699 iPhone X, let alone the fact that many other phones could sell this year under the iPhone price cap (and if so it will also hold for the most part).

What Makes The iPhone 14 Line-Up?

Like everyone else with the iPhone line-up, there are three main models to choose between - the first model comes in silver with 128 GB storage, while the next one will have 256 GB version and finally 1TB model in black. But with only four models, you can buy the iPhone 14 through either 6 or 128 GB versions. Of course the iPhone 11 also comes with both 6 to 128 GB models but the new phone from Apple will be the biggest leap forward, with better cameras across all lenses.

One thing to keep in mind here is that the device can be had with almost every configuration as long as you choose 64GB (64GB + 128GB costs about Rs 49,000 vs Rs 54,000), meaning that you can go even bigger with the 512GB option and get your money back if you want, making it that perfect balance for most users. Even with a single large-capacity memory variant, the iPhone 14 can run a couple of applications like gaming and watching Netflix simultaneously.

Price Update

The iPhone 14 lineup will start at around Rs 294017 The base size for all models starts at Rs 55,900 for the 6, iPhone 14 can cost anywhere between Rs 50,900 and Rs 56,900 (depending on the screen size, colour options (or colour variant of the same) and the base storage option).

On the higher end, the larger storage and RAM options range between Rs 47,900, Rs 53,900, Rs 55,700, Rs 57,700. Prices start pretty high in the case of the 32GB/512GB and 128GB/1TB models, priced at Rs 50,900 and Rs 51,800, and Rs 54,700 and Rs 55,700, respectively. At Rs 52,900, the 256GB version of the iPhone 14 will cost Rs 54,900. So the total price for the iPhone 14 lineup is, in my opinion slightly above Rs 250000 to Rs 294017 , depending upon your budget.

The specs on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 show only minor differences, including the 5G variant being equipped with dual nano sim cards for faster internet, 8GB RAM and an extra 2GB on board for expanded RAM.

However, the actual specifications for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 12 show a huge difference with that of the Pro models, including an advanced ultra-fast A14 chip, and support for 120Hz refresh rates. Also, the phone will be available in two sizes - at 27 and 32GB. It will come with 16GB plus 256GB variant and at Rs 79,900 with 128GB variant.
